2 Sam 11-12 shows, in the form of a narrative, how sin works, leading its victims to envy, lie and kill. One only gets out of this imprisonment by the intervention of God. This first article sets out the narrative coherence of the episode. A second part will measure the importance of this diptych in its literary context.
Keywords : 2 Sam 11-12 | David and Bathsheba | Narrative plot | Sin
