Le rendez-vous du Dieu vivant. La mort de Moïse dans l'intrigue du Deutéronome (Dt 1-4 et Dt 31-34)

The Death of Moses in the Deuteronomic Intrigue (Dt 1-4 et Dt 31-34)

If the Book of Deuteronomy focuses on the transmission of the Torah by Moses to the generation which is about to cross the Jordan River, it tells also about the final education of God's prophet. A narrative approach to Deuteronomy's first chapters reveals that Moses avoids the theme of his imminent death and transfers upon the people the responsibility of the misdeed that prevents him from entering the land. In the book's last chapters, the same Moses receives from God to revisit and to convert his relationship to death.
