Sarah, the Ant and Patristic Exegesis

Sarah, la fourmi et l'exégèse patristique

NRT 140/2 (2018) p. 197-214
Author : Anne DE SAXCÉ
There is great interest today in reading patristic texts. Calling to mind the stakes involved in a reading of the Fathers compatible with modern exegesis, the article highlights the new possibilities opened these recent years by some very contemporary practices of biblical exegesis (cultural, literary studies etc.). Then it offers two studies of patristic exegesis where one can see what brings the thought of the Fathers close to our postmodern reflections.
Keywords : Exegesis | patristics | postmodernity | biblical figures | feminism
