Éthique et signifiance. De Lévinas à  un personnalisme de contextualité

Fred Poché
The A. first focuses his attention on the process of significance, articulating it with the concept of care for the other emphasized by Lévinas. He then proposes certain reservations, rethinking this problem from the dialogique transcendantale initiated by Francis Jacques. At the same time, he has to take into account, in a radical way, the corelation between context and temporality (a temporality «forgotten» by the pragmaticians). In other words, this study shows that the context is not confined to what allows the meaning; it contributes to building the identity of a person. Every human being interiorises the various contexts of communication in which he has found himself in the course of his existence. The ethical incidences of that personnalism of contextuality are not insignificant.
