Analysing the recent Roman Clarification about the Filioque (september 1995), and seeking to draw its consequences in the sphere of grace and man's divinisation, the A. elucidates the complementarity of Christ and the Holy Spirit in the economy of salvation, a complementarity which flows from their reciprocity inside the intratrinitarian order (and, in so doing, he brings closer to each other the Catholic and the Orthodox positions about the supernatural). This complementarity articulates, in the work of divinisation, the recreation of man through and according to the humanity of Christ, archetype in the instrumental order of created habitual grace and the union of man to God himself through the finalisation of charity, which man receives from the untreated divine operation in the shape of actual grace, in the communion of the Holy Spirit.
