Having participated as an expert at the synod of the Bishops of Lebanon, which was held at Rome last December, the author sketches an evaluation of the questions asked. In particular, he looks at the relations between the Christian Churches of the East, the relations between Christian communities and the Lebanese state, and the relations between Christians and Moslems in Lebanon and the Near-East.
