The eucharistic epiclesis in the liturgies of the East initiates any reader into the eucharistic eastern theology. This article proposes a theological approach of St. Basil's copt and byzantin liturgies and of St. Gregory of Nazianze's one. The theological analysis concerns the item of the indignity in front of the eucharistic mystery, the epicletical terminology and the consecration's theology. The author tries to demonstrate the existence of an ancient eucharistic treasure, that may direct Christians in a conscience of the common past for Eastern and Western Churches.
