Pour une valorisation de l'économie ecclésiale au Grand Concile orthodoxe
Kamiel Duchatelez o praemThe Orthodox Churches have long been planning to call a «Great Council». The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomaios has expressed the hope that such a project may soon materialise. The event somewhat concerns all the Churches. Relations between the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church are, once again, at a low ebb. The A. is ot the opinion that, in the move towards our wished-for unity, «Ecclesial economy» is called to play a significant role. Upto now it has failed to fully fructify. The present article examines the question once again, in the light of the coming Council. After having considered the values of the «economy» in both Churches and the conditions of its playing a role on the road towards unity, it takes on the two ever burning subjects: the Pope and the Uniats.
