Current events in the world seem to call for a renewed conversion to the Truth in Islamo-Christian dialogue. The present article points out three main aspects of such a conversion. Realism at the present juncture: in the prevailing expansionist context, it is difficult to separate moderate Muslims from the extremists. Doctrinal realism: the theology of religious blossoms in the anthropology of the one and divine vocation of all persons in Christ. Pastoral realism: we ought not to maintain an identical stand in all cases: each encounter must be lived in supernatural docility to the Holy Spirit.
