The author shows how Canon Law can contribute to the vitality of the new communities. First, ecclesial law may further the juridical recognition of these new communities in determining their minimum conditions of existence on the ecclesial scene and in the mission of the model that will unable those communities to determine their own singularity. Finally canonical science may prove useful in treating specific questions such as the direction in the hands of the laity, the place of priests, the associative nature or the significance of the members' engagement. On this last question, the author proposes a suggestive hypothesis which will not fail to stimulate our reflection.
