Theological work is in objective dependence with regard to the ecclesial experience of the faith. The article studies the ecclesial modalities of theological elaboration since Lumen gentium. It is about a need in our day regarding ecclesiology. The theologian's membership of the ecclesial community is then perceived as a condition of possibility of theology as witness, communion and mission today.
